HP laptop liquid damage repair
Water, coffee, tea or wine spilled on your HP: switch it off, unplug the charger, and get it to us quickly. Corrosion keeps spreading after the spill.
What’s it doing?
| Symptom | Usually means |
|---|---|
| Still works after the spill | It may not for long. Corrosion grows under chips over days. Get it cleaned now. |
| Won’t turn on | Usually a short on the board. Board repair, not a new laptop. |
| Keyboard not working | Liquid under the keys. The keyboard or palmrest is replaced. |
| Screen dark after the spill | Liquid reached the screen cable or backlight circuit. |
Don’t use rice or a hairdryer, and don’t try it again to see if it works. We strip, clean and repair the board, then replace the parts that were damaged.

Questions
How long does it take?
Most repairs take one to three working days once the part arrives. We order the exact part for your model and product number.
Do you give a price first?
Yes. We diagnose the laptop and tell you the price before any repair. Nothing is done until you agree.
Is my data safe?
A repair doesn’t wipe your storage. If we ever need to reinstall Windows, we copy your files off first and check them with you.
