HP laptop motherboard repair
Laptop dead, no picture, liquid damage or a short circuit: we repair HP motherboards at component level instead of replacing the whole board.
What’s it doing?
| Symptom | Usually means |
|---|---|
| No power at all | A failed power chip, fuse or short circuit, often after liquid or a faulty charger. |
| Lights and fan, no picture | Graphics chip, memory or BIOS fault. Older Pavilions are known for graphics chip failure. |
| Turns off by itself | Overheating, a failing power circuit or the battery connector. |
| Liquid spilled on it | Corrosion keeps spreading. Switch off, unplug, and bring it in quickly. |
Board repair is usually far cheaper than a new board and keeps your BIOS settings and serial number. Where a board can’t be saved, we can still get your files off the SSD or drive.

Questions
How long does it take?
Most repairs take one to three working days once the part arrives. We order the exact part for your model and product number.
Do you give a price first?
Yes. We diagnose the laptop and tell you the price before any repair. Nothing is done until you agree.
Is my data safe?
A repair doesn’t wipe your storage. If we ever need to reinstall Windows, we copy your files off first and check them with you.
